The Narrow Gate

When we go through the narrow gate, it all seems like darkness. That is because the narrow gate is small. It’s narrow. There’s not much room on either side.

For a brief moment, we when we are passing through the gate, we have to trust God. Once we are in the city, the space is vast, and we can see many things again.

It is for that brief moment, when we go through gate, we must have faith and trust in God.

Jesus said that He is the gate. Through Him we will go in and find safety, and in day time, we will go out and find pasture.

Someone who has been through the gate before has no fear. They know that there is safety on either side of the gate. To go through the gate for the first time, we don’t know what’s on the other side.

What we need to do is trust God. Have faith and trust God.

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

(Matthew 7:13-14,NIV)
