Old Testament Examples

During the time of the Old Testament, from creation up to Abraham, through to Moses and Law, many things happened to individuals as examples for us.

Often times in the Old Testament a person was noted for one thing, some for many, but all are noted for how they followed the Lord. The Bible is not so concerned about the accomplishments of man apart from God. 

It is often said about the kings of the Bible that their worldly accomplishments are noted in the books of the Kings of Israel, but the Bible does not go into them. All the Bible goes into is how they acted in relation to God.

It is said that what happened to them in the Old Testament happened to them as examples for us.
