Who is God?

God is the Creator of the universe. He made all things. He made the heavens the Stars, the Earth the land, the animals, the birds of the air, all the sea creatures and all the animals that are on the ground.

God is the Father of mankind. God made Man In His Image. The first man and woman, Adam and Eve, fell from a state of grace. Sin came into the world through them and with sin came death.

God is the Savior. God sent his only son into the world, Jesus, to die for the sin of the world and on the third day rise from the grave overcoming death. Jesus ascended to the place He had before the world was made.

The Bible says what is it that Jesus ascended except that He descended. Jesus first had to become a man to become the savior of the world. In order to become a man, He emptied himself of the glory of God. Having finish the work that God sent him to do, God restored Him to the glory that He had before the foundation of the world.

God is the Holy Spirit. God is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. After Jesus ascended to the right hand of God the Father, the place of all of authority in Heaven and Earth, God sent the Holy Spirit to Earth. Jesus even said that the Holy Spirit would not come if He [Jesus] did not go away. That is why Jesus said it is better for us that He go away.

On the day of Pentecost, the believers who were meeting in the upper room were baptized in the Holy Spirit. That means that they were immersed in the Holy Spirit. The Bible says that God is Spirit, and He seeks worshippers to worship Him in spirit and in truth.

The name of God is Yahweh. Some people spell His name Y-hw-h or Yhwh because in the original language the Old Testament vowels are not used. God’s name is also Yeshua, because that is the name that was given to Jesus as a young child. Jesus is often referred to as Jesus Christ or Yeshua Hamachia. Another way of saying Jesus Christ is Jesus the Messiah. Before Jesus came to Earth, Jesus was known as the Word of God. We know the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our Teacher, Guide and Comforter. He is our Counselor.

God is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He is a Savior of all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Everyone who believes in Jesus and follows him will be raised up on the last day to everlasting life.
