Job – Faith

Job live an moral life:

This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil.

Job was a man of faith.

My ears had heard of you

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Job lived a blessed life.

and he owned seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen and five hundred donkeys, and had a large number of servants. He was the greatest man among all the people of the East.

Job had heard about God and was blessed. He believed what he heard.

Jesus said, blessed are those who have not seen yet believe.

God’s desire was to bring a job closer to him.  Job went from an upright man of faith to a man of vision.

My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you.

When Job saw God in the cloud, he saw that his righteousness was nothing compared with God’s righteousness.

Therefore, I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.

In the end, Job saw the beauty of the Lord. Job was a man of clay. He was a man of the earth.  He saw the Lord in his everlasting and eternal majesty.

Job was free from the things that bound him. He was free to enjoy the blessing of the Lord, and he was free to know the Lord.
