Witnesses of Jesus

When John the Baptist saw Jesus he said, Look the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.   John was a witness of Jesus.

There could only be one.  Jesus said, I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the Father except through me.

Another witness of Jesus was The Law.  The Law mandated the a sacrifice be made each year.  Jesus fulfilled the Law once and for all by dying for the sins of the world.  He became what the Law demanded.

The Father spoke from heaven: and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.  (ESV)

Peter answered Jesus and said, You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.

The Samaritans were witnesses.  They said to the woman, We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.

Thomas would not believe until he saw Jesus risen from the dead.  Jesus appeared to Thomas. Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”  Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
